"I want Microblading." (We hear this every day!)

Over the last decade, the word "Microblading" has become the universal term for all permanent eyebrow enhancements. If you are looking to wake up with perfect, waterproof brows, you are in the right place.

At Brows in Grace, we offer traditional Microblading, but we also offer the modern advancements in the industry - like Nano Brows and Ombre Powder - that might actually be a better fit for your skin type and lifestyle.

Here is a guide to our four main brow techniques to help you decide.

1. Nano Brows (The Modern "Microblading")

Best for: All skin types (especially oily or mature skin).

If you want the natural, hair-stroke look of Microblading but with less trauma to the skin, this is our most requested service.

  • The Technique: Instead of cutting the skin with a blade, we use a digital machine and a single ultra-fine needle to gently place pigment in the skin.

  • The Look: Fluffy, hyper-realistic hair strokes that flow with your natural growth.

  • Why we love it: It heals faster, lasts longer, and is much gentler than manual microblading.

2. Ombré Powder Brows

Best for: Clients who wear makeup daily or have oily skin.

Do you fill in your brows with powder or pencil every morning? This technique mimics that soft, "makeup" look.

  • The Technique: We use a machine to shade the brow, starting light at the front (the "ombré" effect) and getting darker toward the tail.

  • The Look: Soft, misty, and defined. No hair strokes, just a beautiful background color.

3. Combo Brows (Hybrid)

Best for: Clients who want definition AND fluffiness.

Can't decide between strokes and shading? You don't have to.

  • The Technique: We combine hair strokes at the front of the brow (usually Nano strokes) with shading through the body and tail.

  • The Look: The best of both worlds. Natural and fluffy at the start, with a defined arch and tail.

4. Traditional Microblading

Best for: Dry to Normal skin types with small pores.

This is the classic technique that started the craze.

  • The Technique: A manual handheld tool consisting of tiny needles creates small incisions (cuts) in the skin to deposit pigment.

  • The Look: Crisp hair strokes.

  • Important Note: Microblading is not recommended for oily skin, as the oil can cause the strokes to blur over time. If you have oily skin, we strongly recommend Nano Brows.

"Which one should I book?"

Don't worry—you don't have to know exactly which technique you need right now.

90% of our clients change their mind during the consultation! When you book an appointment at Brows in Grace, we start with a thorough skin analysis. We will look at your pore size, skin texture, and brow goals. If you book Microblading but your skin is better suited for Nano or Ombre, we will explain why and simply switch the service on the spot.
