Correction & Removal: We Can Fix It.

Do you have existing permanent makeup from another artist?

Whether your old brows have faded to an unwanted color (red, blue, or grey), the shape is uneven, or you simply lost contact with your original artist—we are here to help.

At Brows in Grace, we specialize in Correction and Cover-Up work. We understand that trusting a new artist with your face is difficult, especially if you have had a bad experience in the past. Our goal is to give you a fresh start.

"I just need a Touch-Up." (Please Read This First)

This is the most common misunderstanding in our industry!

If your brows were tattooed by another artist, we do not consider your appointment a "Touch-up" or a "Refresh." It is considered a New Client Correction.

Why?

  • Unknown Variables: We do not know what brand of pigment was used, how deep it was implanted, or the mapping logic used.

  • Color Theory: We often have to "neutralize" the old color first (e.g., using olive pigment to cancel out red/orange brows) before we can give you the target color.

  • Reshaping: Fixing asymmetry requires more time and skill than simply going over existing lines.

Because of the complexity and skill required, correction work is priced higher than a standard maintenance touch-up.

Our Solutions

1. Color & Shape Correction (Cover-Up)

If your old brows are faded enough (usually 50% or lighter), we can often work over them using Nano or Powder techniques.

  • The Process: We use color theory to correct discoloration (turning grey brows back to brown, or cooling down orange brows) and refine the shape to be more modern and flattering.

  • Best for: Old microblading that has faded significantly; minor asymmetry.

2. Saline Removal / Lightening

Sometimes, the old pigment is too dark, too saturated, or the shape is too misplaced to cover up successfully. In these cases, adding more ink will only make it look worse. We must remove the old ink first.

  • The Process: We use a safe, high-quality saline solution that is tattooed into the skin. This solution binds to the old pigment and lifts it out of the skin through the scabbing process.

  • Best for: Dark, saturated brows; deep ink; ink migration (blowouts); or shapes that need to be completely redrawn.

  • Note: Removal is a process. It often takes 2-4 sessions to lighten the brow enough for a new set.

How to Book a Correction

STOP! Do not book online yet.

Because every case is unique, we require a pre-approval process for all clients with previous work. We need to assess if your brows are workable or if they require removal first.

Step 1: Take 3 Clear Photos Please take these photos in natural daylight (standing in front of a window is best) with no makeup on your brows.

  1. Front: Facing the camera directly.

  2. Right Side: A close-up of your right brow.

  3. Left Side: A close-up of your left brow.

Step 2: Send them to us Text your photos to (949) 385 0727 or email them to elena@browsingrace.com Please include your name and a brief history of your brows (e.g., "Microbladed 3 years ago, turned orange").

Step 3: We Review & Book Our artist Elena will review your photos. We will reply within 24 hours to let you know if we can perform a Correction immediately or if Removal is recommended. We will then send you the correct booking link.
